Tell Be happy how you're feeling, and it builds you a sound session aimed at gently guiding your mind toward where you'd like to be — calmer, sleepier, or more focused.

The heart of it is a binaural frequency: two soft tones played a few hertz apart — one in each ear — set to an offset in the brain-wave band loosely linked to that state (slow theta for calm, delta for sleep, a touch of beta for focus). The aim is to give your mind a steady, soothing rhythm to settle into, wrapped in gentle AI-made music, a slow breathing guide, and a few reassuring words. 🎧 Headphones are needed for the binaural effect.

✨ How it works — scenarios & the Hz science

Your brain runs on rhythms. Scientists group them into bands that correlate with mental states: delta (deep sleep), theta (meditative), alpha (calm ease), and beta (alert focus). We map your check-in to a target state and build a tone with a binaural beat in that band.

When it can help:

  • 🌙 The 3 AM loop: When you're staring at the ceiling; a steady Delta anchor to help racing thoughts settle.
  • 🤯 Between meetings: A short Theta "reset" for when your brain feels too busy or frazzled.
  • 📚 Deep work & study: A gentle Beta nudge for when you're feeling sluggish or distracted.
  • ☁️ Emotionally drained: A Low-Alpha session for when you're feeling low or a bit lonely.
  • The afternoon slump: A Lift/Alpha session to help you shift out of a "stuck" or unmotivated mood.

The honest part: evidence for binaural beats is weak and mixed — some people relax with them, studies disagree. This is an aid for subjective relaxation, not a medical treatment, and we make no claims of "healing frequencies," brainwave entrainment, or fixing a body part. We deliberately avoid pseudoscience (e.g. "528 Hz heals DNA," Solfeggio tones, Rife machines). Honestly, the calm music, slow breathing, and a kind voice probably do most of the real work — and that's perfectly fine. 💙
